I’m a huge fan of Australian multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd. I have all of his albums except one, ‘Live in Canada 2001′. I’ve searched everywhere over the past year with no luck. I spent some time in Australia last year and couldn’t even find it there. Have you heard of this album? Any idea where I might be able to find it?

Xavier is one of those Jack Johnson-ish surfer dudes who channels his time on the beach into his music. The difference is that this guy is a one-man band who can play just about any instrument you care to mention, including the didgeridoos (of course!).
Although he’s from Australia, Xavier has a very song connection to this country. He’s married to a Canadian woman named Marci. His career is handled by a Vancouver management company called Thompson Management. And Live in Canada 2001 was his very first album. Being an independent project, it was produced in sparse amounts. It’s not even available through the store on Xavier’s official websites. That’s odd. It makes me think that there are some weird contractual or legal reasons as to why it’s not available anymore.

Live in Canada is virtually impossible to find … it doesn’t even come up on eBay. Those of us who are blessed to have a copy aren’t likely to part with it, but I for one am very happy to do a B&P if you don’t have it at all?
Xavier also produced three EPs prior to LIC … Scattered Minds, and then two as “Xavier and the Hum” … Green and 3. I am also happy to B&P copies of those if you’re interested.
